Fattouche ( Arabic  : فتوش ‎) is a salad of raw vegetables that is part of Levantine mezze . The basic ingredients of fattouche are purslane 1 , lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes , onions as well as a spice called sumac , which gives a sour taste. It is traditionally eaten with crispy Levantine bread .

    A note for those who cannot tolerate raw vegetables, let them boil, steam or fry them in a frying pan
    How to prepare
    Mix tomatoes, radish, cucumber, lettuce and pepper in a bowl.
    Add chopped onions, mint and parsley and mix the ingredients
    Mix olive oil, lemon juice, sumac, and pomegranate molasses in a bowl.
    Pour the mixture over the vegetable mixture.
